It wasn't easy, but I have defeated the evil HTML beast and created a pretty new template for your enjoyment. Gone are the days of the boring old look, the same old same old, the status quo. I'm proud to usher in a new era here in the cheap seats, following in the footsteps of others who have used the beginning of 2007 as a stepping off point for a whole new look.
I'm a little punchy. Staring at a computer screen for 2 hours trying to get the colors and pictures to work will do that to you.
Hope you like it! And if you don't...well, I honestly have no idea what I did to make it look like this, so odds are that I won't be able to change it again. Suffer in silence.

Dig the look! Or something like that :D
The site looks good. Nice job.
Sweet new look, and this has to be the only blog on earth to feature Tomas Flesichmann (#43) so prominently :).
Very nice--I confess, checking in last night I was wondering where all the links on the side went! Glad to see all has returned.
Thanks, all!
Good ol' Flash...I didn't notice his prominence until I had the site up. There may have to be more changes to come ;)
I love the new look. The picture at the top is interesting. I wonder where you found it...
(By the way, I've been a faithful reader of the blog now for about a month. This is just my first comment. All I know is that this is the best Caps blog I've found so far. My dad and I are always cracking up over the players' nicknames you come up with.)
AWESOME new look! I'm very impressed with your placement of the picture at the top... woohoo!
(I might have to pick your brain on how to do that!)
Add me to the pick your brain list. I desperately wish I could make a template for mine also.
Must be nice to remain fashionable and well dressed!
I wanted to ask if you are up to a friendly little blogger wagering on the Habs-Caps game.
If my team wins - you have to post an appreciation of the team in whatever manner you chose. If the Caps take it, I am offering to write (humbled and all!) a piece on what I think would be the Capitals all-time All-Star team. No time limit involved in the loser posting said blog.
Sound fun?
I'll wait until the drop of the puck for a reply. Teams are scoring on Huet early these days and Aebischer might even get the call - so don't delay on the yay or nay!
Shelby: Glad you like the nicknames! I generally do them because they make me laugh...it's good to know other people share my weird sense of humor :)
Rob/Reality Check: the design was really a product of my playing around with the template based on directions I found online, but I'm happy to offer any (misguided)advice. The placement of the picture kind of happened by accident, but it worked out well.
Reality Check: I'll take that wager :) Start working on that blog post about the all-time Caps all-star team, I'm feeling good about this one!
Nice! I like the pic at the top.
