According to WashingtonCaps.com, Darren "Kenny" Machesney has been returned to Hershey and Freddy Cassivi makes his season debut as Olie's backup. Actually, I don't know that we've ever seen Cassivi up here during the regular season, at least not in the last two seasons. No offense to him, but I'm hoping we won't have to see him in net at all today.
I'm recording this game and watching it later tonight, so I'll have a recap then.
DVR...best invention ever.

He started one game last year, against the Devils.
Ah, so he did. Keeping me honest as always :)
November 11, 2005 against the Devils. He took the loss, allowing 4 goals on 30 shots for a GAA of 4.07 and a save percentage of .867.
Before that? 2 games back in the 2002-02 season for the dreaded Thrashers, which he split 1-1.
I know I've been remiss in...everything, basically...but what the puck happened to Johnson?
Johnny has a body injury.
I swear, that's what it's listed as.
Anyways, he's day-to-day right now - Joe B. and Locker have been speculating that he got hurt in warm-ups or practice about a week ago, so we've had rotating baby goalies for the past few games.
Thank you. I've been dealing w/ a basement remodel since Christmas, so I'm a little out of it.
I'll be there tonight, though!
I'll be there too!
I'm stealing the parental units' tickets tonight, so I'm headed to section 111. If anyone sees a lunatic bouncing up and down about a half an hour before the puck drops, that's me :)
