50 minutes of a goaltenders' duel, an explosion of offense in the span of a minute, tremendous performances up and down the Caps' bench (especially Alexander Semin), and 39 saves by #37, Godzilla himself, Olie Kolzig.Great game, no? Two HUGE points for the Caps tonight, well done.
Heart attack, no kidding, I'm still shaking... might have to lay off Caps hockey for a while... but I can't.
ReplyDeleteWe were 50 some odd minutes from a shutout! Olie earned it...and we blew it. I can't complain that much, I realize this, but come on! I know CAPS shutting out the Bolts is a tall order, but they were doing it! I hope this is the sign of things to come for Flash and Semin.
Also, of course, well done for my buddy Dave! He seems to enjoy playing the Bolts; I dont know if I can survive it.
