It's been a long night, a long day, and a long week so I'm going to hold off on the full coverage of the Draft Day Party until tomorrow. I will leave you with this tidbit, though - up close the uniforms look really sharp and the players seem to genuinely like them (despite the scary mannequin-esque look in the above picture). All in all, I have to say they're really growing on me.

Watching the guys doing the catwalk thing, all I could think of was the fashion show scene in Slapshot...

Biff: They're REALLY not that bad. I hardly notice them. Weren't they going to be blue originally? This is much better.
Okay, now that's more like it. I like the jersey much more with the blue shorts.

ReplyDeleteNic and I saw the first logo on a normal person tonight. Someone at the Nats game was wearing a hat with the new logo.
